How to use Edit PDF online

Edit PDF lets you change the words already in a PDF while keeping the original font, size and colour, and add new content on top: text, pictures, shapes, freehand drawing and highlights.

  1. Select your PDF.
  2. Choose "Edit text" and click any line to change it, or pick another tool to add content.
  3. Move, resize or delete anything you added.
  4. Click "Save changes" and download the edited PDF.

Can I really change the existing text?

Yes. Click a line, type the new text, and the old words are removed from the page and replaced in the matching font.

A scan is a picture. Run OCR PDF first, or use white-out and add text on top.
